FERROALLOYS SUPPLY CYCLE
THIS IS HOW WE WORK
CGT Staff constantly engages contracts with several manufacturers around the world, in order to get the best offers and high quality materials. When a purchase agreement is reached, CGT issues the final order of Ferroalloy Lot to the selected provider, defining the payment terms (in general with LC) and timing of delivery in Europe at one of the main appointed seaports.
CGT always engages Independent Organizations like Bureau Veritas and SGS to obtain services related to the inspection, the measurement, the analysis and the certification of standards in order to guarantee the chemical and particle size conformity of the supply before the shipment.
Once received the analysis certification, CGT confirms its purchase order and operators authorize the loading and shipment of Ferroalloy Lot to the final destination.
SHIPMENT AND STORAGE
The material is transported by vessel and by trucks. CGT arranges the transports with specialized agencies. During the trip CGT has the full insurance coverage for all goods risks till the final delivery to the customer plant. At the arrival in the EU, till the delivery to the customer, the ferroalloys’ Lots are stored in warehouses managed by specialized logistics companies and again examined by a local specialized laboratory to give the final conformity and quality approvement before delivery to the customer plant.
